Job description

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.

Position: Final Assembler

The Final Assembler is responsible for the final assembly of trolleys in the department. Trolleys are assembled according to the type and size of the flight for which they are used. The assembler may work as part of a team or individually.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Check flight bills to determine required items for each flight.
  2. Assemble rebuilt trolleys brought over by bar/boutique builders, staging them by flight number.
  3. Add headsets, hampers, and satchels as requested to complete the flight.
  4. Push fully assembled flights into the cold room for pickup.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work 8-hour rotating shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Arrive on time and pass a criminal background check.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), sound judgment, tact, and ability to work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Professional interaction with customers.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications.
  • Adaptability and self-motivation with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques; capable of handling heavy lifting (~50 lbs).
  • Ability to work in shift environments.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Exposure to extreme temperature changes and noise.
  • Work in cold environments ranging from +10°C to below 0°C.
  • Must lift, push, pull, and move items up to 50 pounds.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Previous experience in roles requiring strong attention to detail preferred.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
