We are seeking energetic, hard-working Filling Operators to work full-time on our Midnight shift (Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) at our Alliston facility. The starting wage is $26.00/hour plus applicable shift premium. We offer an Employee Stock Purchasing Plan, a Defined Contribution Pension Plan, and medical/dental benefits starting on your first day.

Your team
  • Dress and gowning requirements include safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask, and boots (additional PPE required during cleaning).
  • Expect constant or intermittent exposure to elevated noise levels.
  • Work involves proximity to equipment, machinery, and belts.
What You'll Be Doing

The Filling Operator performs duties on a rotational basis, including:

  • Visual inspection of IV bag assemblies, filling IV solutions in various sizes, and placing bags into protective over-wraps.
  • Using scales to weigh filled bags to ensure proper fill volume.
  • Inspecting each bag for proper fill volume, air volume, code number, expiration date, and lot number.
  • Loading over-wrapped bags into sealing machines and onto sterilizer trucks, ensuring proper sample counts and positioning.
  • Performing quality checks and documenting rejects, reworking bags as necessary.

Additional duties include:

  • Understanding and applying quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP practices.
  • Reporting safety, quality, or mechanical issues to supervisors.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.
What You'll Bring
  • High School diploma or GED (proof required).
  • Ability to pass ergonomic assessments.
  • Experience with repetitive tasks and in a GMP environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing or food industry preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, including weekends.
