Job summary

Canadian Tire Stores is seeking a Fill Crew Associate to ensure merchandise is moved from warehouse to the sales floor efficiently, handling a range of weights throughout shifts.

The role involves fast-paced tasks, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting a friendly customer experience in a diverse, community-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift/move items as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and report low stock levels.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Execute retail tasks efficiently (stocking, labeling, facing, cleaning).
• Place product and overstock in correct locations.
• Report damaged or stolen goods to the management.
• Assist in pricing and verifying price labels as needed.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse as needed.
• Dispose of garbage and cardboard.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, and identify and report low stock levels.

Requirements / Skills

• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends)
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Result-oriented
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset but not necessary)
