Job summary

South Country Co-op is hiring a Temporary File Maintenance Clerk at our High River Agro location in High River, AB. The role focuses on maintaining pricing, inventory, and financial records within the Agro Centre, ensuring accuracy across Tronia and CRS mainframe systems.

Responsibilities include processing invoices and transfers, reconciling margins, and providing excellent internal and external customer service while collaborating with the Agribusiness Manager.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age and have completed Grade 9.
  • Agriculture industry experience or previous file maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; data entry experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Tronia and CRS Mainframe systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational and math skills.
  • Able to learn new systems quickly and adapt to technology.
  • Strong analytical, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and with a multi-generational team.
  • Physically able to perform duties, including lifting, crouching, and squatting.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Job description

South Country Co-op is hiring a Temporary File Maintenance Clerk at our High River Agro location in High River, AB. Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of pricing, inventory, and financial records within the Agro Centre.

The File Maintenance Clerk plays a critical role in supporting daily operations by managing price files, processing invoices and transfers, maintaining inventory and margin accuracy, and ensuring products are properly received into Tronia and the CRS mainframe. This position also serves as a key internal service resource, resolving invoicing and receiving concerns in collaboration with the Agribusiness Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate store price files, inventory records, and margin reconciliation.
  • Receive products into Tronia and the CRS mainframe in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process invoices, transfers, and related documentation.
  • Prepare reports and perform reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.

  • Maintain organized financial and inventory records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel; data entry experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Tronia and CRS Mainframe systems is preferred.

  • Ability to adapt to new technology and learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

This position requires availability fromMonday to Friday 8am-5pm with additional hours needed in spring and fall season.
