What you'll do:

Reporting to the Hardware Manager, the File Maintenance Clerk is responsible for:

  • Demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
  • Operation of MI9/POS Computer Systems;
  • Weekly inventory controls, item stock maintenance;
  • Monitoring of weekly sales flyers and adjustments;
  • Maintaining a shelf verification and cycle count schedule;
  • Managing pricing file and changing prices as needed;
  • Providing information, assistance and service to customers;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in the Home & Building Supplies Industry and have:

  • A Grade 12 or combination of relevant experience;
  • Experience within a retail environment is an advantage;
  • Excellent typing/computer skills is essential;
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills and organizational skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
