Description

Temporary 3-Month Assignment With Possible Extension

We’re looking for an enthusiastic File Clerk to join our team for a full-time, temporary 3-month assignment, with the possibility of extension. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying organized, and isn’t afraid of computers or learning new tools to make their job easier.

You’ll be working closely with legal assistants and attorneys, supporting day-to-day operations by managing both physical and digital files, helping prepare for events, and assisting with general office upkeep. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to a mission-driven environment.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 6 to 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

  • Copy, scan, and mail documents at the direction of legal assistants and attorneys
  • File, close, and archive files as client matters are completed
  • Perform important tasks at the courthouse and the auditor's office
  • Deliver mail before 5:30 p.m. daily and run errands in the Vancouver/Portland area as needed
  • Assist with seminar preparations and general office support
  • Help with daily cleaning tasks, including dishes, trash, and maintaining office cleanliness
Qualifications
  • Business attire required
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds from the floor to overhead
  • Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma; some post-secondary education preferred
  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Comfortable working with several different databases of information
  • Proficient with office equipment such as copiers and scanners
  • Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus
Compensation

$17 hourly
