Job summary

DFI is seeking a Field Welder to support field operations in installing and welding helix piles. You will repair a mobile welding truck, read blueprints, and perform structural work in remote locations and in-town shops.

The role requires Journeyman Red Seal and CWBA certifications for all positions, with safety trainings including Fall Arrest and First Aid. Wage starts at $40.51/hour plus $5/hour field premium, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Red Seal required.
• CWB for all-position welding (SMAW/FCAW) required.
• Fall Arrest, Confined Space, First Aid training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations in the install and welding of helix/helical piles.
• Repair and maintenance of mobile welding truck and supplies.
• Read and interpret blueprints; perform structural work.
• Travel to remote sites and work in-town in shop as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
