Pinchin offre un stage coopératif de 4 mois pour un Technicien de terrain au sein du groupe Environnement. Ce rôle permettra aux étudiants d'acquérir une expérience pratique tout en travaillant sur des projets environnementaux réels. Les candidats doivent être en voie d'obtenir un diplôme en sciences environnementales ou dans des domaines similaires, avec une forte attention aux détails et des compétences en Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Étudiant(e) en science environnementale, ingénierie environnementale ou ressources en eau.
  • Expérience professionnelle pertinente considérée comme atout.
  • Permis de conduire valide requis.

Responsibilities

  • Effectuer la surveillance et l'échantillonnage des eaux souterraines.
  • Superviser et connaître l'installation des forages.
  • Liaison avec les clients et les entrepreneurs.

Today is the day to boost your career!Pinchin’s Sudbury office is offering a 4 month co-op placement for a Field Technician within the Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation group for May 2025 term.

This is an ideal position for any student looking for practical, hands-on experience to complement their academic program. As a valued member of our team you will do exciting, challenging work, solve real environmental problems, and make a meaningful impact. You will learn about the business and build your own professional network by working closely with senior professionals in the industry.

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin :

  • Conduct groundwater monitoring and sampling
  • Oversee Utility Locates
  • Shadow and supervise drilling and monitoring well installations
  • Inspect and test during environmental remediations
  • Summarize data and drawings
  • Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
  • Liaise between clients and contractors; maintain existing client relationships and build upon new ones

What you bring to the Pinchin team :

  • Pursuing a degree / diploma in either environmental science, environmental engineering, or water resources engineering
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook is required
  • Relevant work experience will be considered an asset
  • Strong ethical principles
  • High attention to detail
  • Current and valid driver’s license with sufficient insurance
