Job summary

LN Land Development Technologies Inc. in Alberta is seeking a field surveying technician to join our on-site team. You will operate GPS and surveying instruments, participate in field surveys, and keep measurements and notes in a systematic order.

The role supports survey engineers, prepares drawings, and helps develop procedures for field surveys, with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• College diploma in surveying or related program (1–2 years).
• 2 years to less than 3 years of field surveying experience.
• Ability to work on-site at rural and remote locations.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate survey instruments and devices.
• Participate in field surveys.
• Keep survey information in systematic order.
• Assist in the calculation, analysis and computation of measurements obtained during field surveys.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts and plans.
• Record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities.
• Supervise and co-ordinate field survey activities.
