Software Placement Group in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada is seeking a Field Support Engineer to service hematology, chemistry, coagulation and other automated lab instrumentation in the greater Regina area. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep customer lab equipment running reliably.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate or AAS in electronics, at least 3 years of field service experience, and is willing to travel overnight.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Overnight travel required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Not eligible for sponsorship or work authorization; must not require sponsorship to work in Canada.
• No relocation offered; must reside within the greater Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada area.

Overview

A manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers is seeking a Field Support Engineer to service hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and other automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada area. This role is critical to keeping customers' laboratory equipment running reliably through installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support.

What you'll do

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, including tools and trunk stock (parts)
• Provide basic on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary $65K - $85K depending on experience
• Overtime & performance bonus expected to add an additional $4K - $8K annually, possibly more
