Pro Property Services is hiring a Field Supervisor in Calgary to oversee daily field operations, supervising Field Techs in landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow clearing for residential and commercial properties.

The role reports to Dispatch Manager and focuses on timely service delivery, safety, and high-quality workmanship while coordinating day-to-day tasks and coaching team members for productivity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Field Technician role servicing residential and commercial properties, including snow clearing.
  • Experience leading a small team is preferred.
  • Experience with landscaping, lawn maintenance and snow clearing equipment.
  • Completion of High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to use mobile apps to document service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Field Techs performing landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow clearing for diverse properties.
  • Step in to perform field work when needed to cover staffing or contract needs.
  • Assist in assigning daily work to meet service delivery requirements and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Organize, prioritize, and monitor daily tasks to ensure on-time completion.
  • Coordinate on-the-job training for Field Techs to maintain versatility.
  • Monitor quality and safety adherence across activities.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching and performance management to maximize productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure service delivery jobs are properly documented for invoicing and customer service.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking to hire a Field Supervisor on a Permanent Full-time basis. Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, the Field Supervisor will primarily oversee the day-to-day service delivery activities to meet customer requirements. The Field Supervisor will assist the Dispatch Manager in planning and directing daily and weekly operations to ensure services scheduled for completion are executed in a timely manner and meet all quality and safety standards. The Field Supervisor is a key point of contact with Customers. They are responsible for ensuring they fulfill the PPS customer value commitment to “Be the Best” by working safely, conveying professionalism, and providing high-quality workmanship.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Oversees the Field Techs as they perform general landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow clearing duties throughout the year, servicing a variety of residential and commercial properties.
  • If PPS has customer complaints, specialty customers, are short staffed, or win additional contracts/sign additional customers, the Supervisor is expected to complete field work.
  • Supports in assigning work on a day-to-day basis to support PPS service delivery requirements and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring day-to-day tasks to ensure all required daily work is completed on time.
  • Schedules and executes on-the-job training for Field Techs to maintain and upgrade team member versatility.
  • Monitors work activities to ensure quality standards are maintained and safety practices, policies and procedures are followed.
  • Provide day to day coaching and performance management to Field Techs to maximize productivity, engagement, and overall contributions of the team.
  • Will ensure that service delivery jobs are properly documented for customer service and invoicing purposes.

You possess the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Field Technician role, servicing both residential and commercial properties, specifically with snow clearing.
  • Previous experience leading a small team is preferred.
  • Experience working with a variety of landscaping, lawn maintenance, and snow clearing equipment.
  • Completion of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Competent with utilizing mobile apps for documenting service delivery.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required with a clean Drivers Abstract.

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and training, with a range of $27-$33 per hour.
