About the job

As a Field Solutions Developer, you will support our Google Cloud sales organization by constructing rapid prototype Generative AI applications for diverse clients, from startups to large enterprises. Your role involves leveraging Generative AI technologies to develop solutions, validate their efficacy, and showcase capabilities directly to customers. You will collaborate closely with product teams to shape future offerings and disseminate lessons learned internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business processes and objectives, designing Generative AI-driven solutions across AI, Data, and Infrastructure, integrating the full cloud stack into architecture.
• Demonstrate Google Cloud's capabilities through application prototypes, model tuning, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and benchmarking.
• Create repeatable technical assets like scripts, templates, and reference architectures to support customers and internal teams.
• Influence Google Cloud strategy and product development by advocating for enterprise customer needs, working cross-functionally with teams and partners.
• Coordinate regional field enablement with leadership and collaborate with product and partner organizations; travel as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., Python).
• Experience in AI applications like deep learning, NLP, computer vision, pattern recognition, or using OSS frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.

Preferred

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with distributed training, performance optimization, CI/CD solutions in MLOps/LLOps, automation with IaC (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience training and fine-tuning models in large-scale environments with accelerators.
• Systems design expertise, including data pipelines, ML pipelines, and training/serving approaches.
