Job description

PURPOSE

Supervises field services personnel in addressing product issues at the customer's site to ensure customer complaints regarding product quality and reliability are resolved efficiently and cost-effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides work direction and supervision to Field Service Representatives, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing guidance, addressing escalated issues, and training team members. May provide performance input to management.
  2. Investigates the condition of company building products on-site during construction based on customer concerns; reports findings to management.
  3. Recommends repairs or replacements of defective components and assists with resolving complex issues.
  4. Negotiates third-party repairs or adjustments and inspects completed work for quality adherence.
  5. Provides on-the-job training to team members.
  6. Plans and oversees work to meet productivity goals, occasionally performing duties similar to a Field Service Representative.
  7. Follows all safety procedures to prevent injuries and attends safety meetings, proposing improvements when necessary.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises on-site employees to ensure customer complaints are resolved regarding product quality and reliability.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required, with five years of installation or related experience, or an equivalent combination. Completion of Truss Technician Training Levels I and II certification is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The role involves work on both company and customer sites, requiring driving, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally, and walking on uneven surfaces. It includes working in varied weather conditions.
