Job Overview:

The primary role is to support and maintain RWJBarnabas Health's users and infrastructure. Responsibilities include coordinating and fulfilling incidents and requests through service management while adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Must represent the company professionally and enthusiastically, providing excellent customer service and supporting the company's mission and vision.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. High School diploma and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • General knowledge of desktop and end-user support.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Comp TIA A+ Certification (preferred)
  • Valid NJ Driver's License
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Full Time
  • Variable working hours for site coverage
  • On Call Availability 1-2 times per month
Essential Functions:
  • Assist in assessment and upgrading of PCs; research and evaluate hardware and software.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, telecom, and networking issues.
  • Prioritize problems following established protocols, complete jobs within SLA guidelines.
  • Meet key metrics on incidents and requests, such as tickets resolved within SLA and mean time to resolve.
  • Maintain RWJBH PCs, perform hardware/software repairs, data backup and recovery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve employee technical requests, escalate when necessary.
  • Follow IMAC procedures for hardware/software requests, asset management.
  • Respond promptly to on-call and after-hours support, carry company mobile device.
  • Provide training on technology topics, document and update ITSM tickets.
  • Ensure asset security compliance (antivirus, patch management, encryption).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
