Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Account Manager to join the Eastern Ontario Environmental Sales team in Brampton. The role focuses on generating leads and securing field service business such as hazardous waste remediation, tank cleaning, and emergency response from existing and new customers.

The Account Manager will build and maintain strong customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and travel 3-4 days per week as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in account management and business development.
  • Strong ability to develop new business and grow existing relationships.
  • Proven value selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 3-4 days per week.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and local branches to drive results.
  • Manage enterprise accounts, serving as primary point of contact and problem solver.
  • Track pipeline and activities using CRM tools to identify growth and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts; support invoicing and collections as needed.
  • Control sales expenses and maintain awareness of performance and pipeline.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Account Manage r to join the Eastern Ontario Environmental Sales team! This role is responsible for generating leads and securing field service business (i.e. hazardous waste remediation, tank cleaning, emergency response) from both existing and new customers within the assigned territory. The Account Manager will build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow profitable Field Services revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
  • Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and local branches to drive results.
  • Manage enterprise accounts, serving as primary point of contact and problem solver.
  • Track pipeline and activities using CRM tools to identify growth and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract, and manage customer agreements.Support invoicing and assisting in collection of customer payments.
  • Control sales expenses and maintain awareness of performance and pipeline.
  • Resolve issues quickly with urgency and a bias for action.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in account management and business development.
  • Background in field services, industrial services, or environmental/waste management highly preferred.
  • Experience handling customer issues related to RCRA, DOT, CERCLA, environmental remediation, emergency response, or industrial cleaning highly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with proven value selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and influence strong relationships.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel on the road 3-4 days per week.
