Job description

Field Service Technician (Agriculture)

We are currently seeking an energetic, hard-working Field Service Technician to help us build grain systems on construction sites throughout Ontario. As a field service technician, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule.

This hands-on position is part of a 2-person crew based out of Elmira. This is a full-time permanent position, working approximately 50 hours per week on a straight day shift.

More than 1 position may be available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel regularly around Ontario with your maintenance crew; some overnight stays required
  • Follow instructions from Crew Leader and Project Manager, adhering to project specifications
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on grain handling facilities
  • Assist installation crews with grain handling equipment as required
  • Work at heights of up to 50 meters
  • Participate in training for safe work practices, use of equipment, tools, and job techniques
  • Contribute to the team with a positive attitude and help develop a great working culture, emphasizing health and safety

  • Are willing to learn, take initiative, and work hard as part of a close-knit team
  • Feel confident working at heights and comfortable using fall protection when required
