Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cooling Engineer specializing in Uniflair and APC cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of various Schneider Electric cooling technologies and models.
  2. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our cooling infrastructure, in a dynamic environment handling both routine maintenance and emergency situations with equal proficiency.

Responsibilities, Skills and Experience:

  1. Licensed HVAC technician
  2. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Schneider Electric cooling systems
  3. Expertise in Uniflair and APC DX cooling models
  4. Proficiency in chilled water systems and large chiller operations
  5. In-depth knowledge of Inrow and Inroom cooling solutions
  6. Strong understanding of HVAC principles and best practices
  7. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints
  8. Experience in performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
  9. Familiarity with energy efficiency optimization in cooling systems
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  11. Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians
  12. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cooling efficiency
  14. Stay updated on the latest cooling technologies and industry trends
  15. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
  16. Perform Start-up/Commissioning on all APC-Uniflair equipment across the entire product line on single module and multi-module systems.
  17. Perform data center assembly services and basic DCIM configuration for cooling integration part
  18. Document all required information for each site visit performed
  19. Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects
  20. Educate our customers on basic operation of their equipment.
  21. Assist Service Partners- Secure Power during the site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
  22. Perform other duties as assigned.
  23. Must be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving general guidance with respect to overall objectives.
  24. Must operate within division policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives
  25. Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
  26. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  27. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  28. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  29. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  30. Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
  31. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, must be able to communicate effectively to various intellectual levels.

Qualifications & Certifications Required:

  1. HVAC Technician Certification
  2. APC & Uniflair Cooling Certification - asset
  3. Additional relevant certifications in industrial cooling systems are a plus
