Field Service Technician - Multi Function Printers
Join Ricoh Canada Inc. as a Field Service Technician - Multi Function Printers.
Responsibilities:
- Service and repair a variety of office equipment, primarily Multi-Function Printers, at customer locations within a designated geographic area.
- Perform diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on complex low-volume multi-functional devices, and mid-volume devices as needed.
- Manage territory, inventory, and customer relationships effectively.
- Achieve productivity targets based on workload and experience.
- Complete technical training on new equipment.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and adhere to backup plans.
- Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
- Interact professionally with customers to assess service needs and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, or component replacements on B&W, color, and multifunctional devices.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a technical field.
- At least 3 years of related experience, including 2 years as an Associate Service Technician.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical devices and electronics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and documentation.
- Mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to learning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, good visual assessment skills, and dexterity for electronic and mechanical work.
- Physical ability to access equipment in various locations and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and appropriate auto insurance.
- Willingness to travel extensively by car and possibly by foot.
- Availability for shift work, overtime, standby, and on-call duties.
- Physical capability to move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
