Field Service Technician (Full Time) - Regina, SK

Key Accountabilities:

  • Installation of Microbulk tanks, telemetry, gas mixers and nitrogen generators
  • Maintenance, repair and service of rental and customer owned equipment
  • Perform equipment calibrations and complete permitting reports
  • Troubleshooting, minor repair and maintenance of Microbulk tankers
  • Handle or assist with troubleshooting of equipment problems
  • Purchase of non-standard or immediate requirement parts
  • Maintain stock of parts inventory at the shop and in the service truck
  • Ability to work various shift scenarios (depending on the location and Region)
  • Able to participate in “on-call” operational support shifts (varies by Region)

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Team player who has a strong focus on customer & safety and works well contractors
  • Experience with installation of plumbing lines
  • Knowledge of fountain and draught beverage systems
  • Relevant product knowledge and experience preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Knowledge of, and experience working with, gas piping and pressure vessels
  • Very strong mechanical aptitude and ability to determine the root cause of problems both at customer sites and remotely over the telephone
  • Available to work overtime and stay out of town in hotels when required
  • Required annual Drug & Alcohol tests for customer access requirements
  • Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information
    System (WHMIS) training
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
