Field Service Technician (Electromechanic)

Salary: Up to $60 per hour

Location: Quebec City, Canada (Travel nationwide across Canada)

We are seeking a competent and autonomous Service Technician to join our client, an international company known for its advanced industrial equipment. Responsibilities
  • Install, perform preventive maintenance, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Operate large-scale CNC machines with European safety systems.
  • Provide technical support mainly within the Quebec City area and across Canada, with occasional trips to the US.
  • Interpret technical diagrams and drawings for precise interventions.
  • Serve as a technical expert and representative to clients.
Qualifications
  • DEP or DEC in electromechanics, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in machine tools.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong skills in industrial electricity, mechanics, and hydraulics.
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments like multimeters.
  • Autonomous and willing to travel frequently.
