Job description

Reporting to the Central Region Customer Service Manager, the Field Service Technician will handle installation and maintenance of bulk gas supply systems. You’ll also work on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment, and assist with piping installations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform pipe fitting, welding, and brazing tasks
  • Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation
  • Oversee contractors and coordinate project activities

This opportunity includes a competitive compensation starting at $40 / hr to close to $50 / hr depending on your skillset, experience and trade tickets. Excellent benefits package includes group extended health coverage, health spending account, RRSP program plus a take home service truck, tablet & laptop, phone and company credit card.

Required Qualifications :

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education or Journeyman status in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with cryogenic or atmospheric gases preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and technical reporting
  • Available for after-hours calls and overtime as needed
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% across Northern AB and BC
  • Independent worker, comfortable in outdoor environments, and able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first approach
