Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician in Sudbury, ON to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compressed air systems across diverse equipment and components. You will work with precision tools and documentation to diagnose performance issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial/mechanical systems, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to be on-call.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• On-call availability with a 90-day ramp-up period.
• Physically demanding role requiring lifting and standing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and components.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to order parts and supplies; mentor apprentices.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, in writing and verbally.
• Assist with system pre-commissioning, start-ups, installations, and repairs with limited supervision.
• Promote and explain benefits of Preventative Maintenance and Diagnostics to customers.
