Qualifications

Job description

Position Overview :

Reporting to the Central Region Customer Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of bulk gas supply systems. The role also involves working on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment, and supporting piping installations.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform pipe fitting, welding, and brazing

Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics

Troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation

Coordinate contractors and oversee project execution

Compensation & Benefits :

Starting hourly rate from $43 to $45 , depending on experience, skillset, and trade certifications. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring :

Qualifications :

Journeyman or post-secondary education in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding , or a related field

35 years experience with cryogenic or atmospheric gas systems preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and technical reporting

Available for after-hours calls and overtime as required

Willing to travel up to 50% throughout BC and Alberta

Self-motivated, able to work independently in outdoor environments

Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs

Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
