JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking Structural Assemblers to bring their expertise to our team, embodying our core values. Your role will be pivotal in a team where every member's contribution drives us forward and leads to our collective success.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and subassemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components for assigned projects and station areas.
  • Use technical data and instructions provided by the client / aircraft manufacturer.
  • Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings, or other materials provided by the Methods Department.
  • Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files.
  • Adapt work to various types of assembly: large/small components.
  • Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the task.
  • Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications:
  • Install fasteners; drill holes; ensure correct products are used for assembly (bolts, rivets, screws, etc.).
  • Use sealants, bonding agents, and corrosion protection as specified.
  • Ensure assemblies conform to manufacturing files.
  • Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment for fit and performance, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
  • Maintain quality standards and production rates.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Report discrepancies or irregularities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an assembler in the aeronautics field.
  • Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • Excellent ability to read drawings.
  • Dexterous and detail-oriented.
  • Quick thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset for communication and technical documentation.

Required Experience

  • Experience in a similar manufacturing or industrial role is preferred.
