JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities
- Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and subassemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components for assigned projects and station areas.
- Use technical data and instructions provided by the client / aircraft manufacturer.
- Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings, or other materials provided by the Methods Department.
- Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files.
- Adapt work to various types of assembly: large/small components.
- Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the task.
- Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications:
- Install fasteners; drill holes; ensure correct products are used for assembly (bolts, rivets, screws, etc.).
- Use sealants, bonding agents, and corrosion protection as specified.
- Ensure assemblies conform to manufacturing files.
- Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment for fit and performance, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
- Maintain quality standards and production rates.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Report discrepancies or irregularities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an assembler in the aeronautics field.
- Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
- Excellent ability to read drawings.
- Dexterous and detail-oriented.
- Quick thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset for communication and technical documentation.

- Experience in a similar manufacturing or industrial role is preferred.
