Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Service Specialist in Mount Pearl, NL to assist with installation of well completion products at customer sites. You will work onsite, coordinate with customers, and ensure safety and quality in field operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid Class 5 Non-GDL license, and experience with hydraulic pumps, forklifts, and cranes. Strong communication, basic math, reading/writing, and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class 5 Non-GDL driver's license is required.
• Experience with hydraulic pumps & fittings preferred.
• Forklifts and overhead cranes experience is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation of the least complex well completion products in the geographic area.
• Typically operates as a one-person crew.
• Consults with customers and promotes good customer relations at the well site.
• Reviews job design and confirms proper equipment and processes.
• Performs all aspects of the job in compliance with HMS processes.
• Applies technical knowledge to solve unanticipated situations and consults with HES operations base as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of pre and post-job product and service activities.
• Maintains assigned equipment and ensures safety regulations and procedures.
• Interacts with third parties to coordinate activities.
• Trains service operators in areas of expertise.
• Documents all Halliburton HSE related activities and post-job paperwork.
• Participates in post-job review and recognizes sales opportunities for additional HES products and services.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
• Promotes and participates in quality improvement processes.
• Develops knowledge to run more complex HES offerings.
