As a Field Service Solution Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our advanced systems. Your knowledge and skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our products in the field.

You will report directly to our Field Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our designated customer sites across various locations within Newfoundland.

This role requires frequent travel and the ability to work in diverse environments. In this role, you will have a direct impact on our customers' satisfaction and the success of our business. Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues will contribute to the overall reliability and performance of our products. YOU MUST HAVE

  • College Diploma or degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of building automation technologies, Enterprise Applications, and Connected Services.
  • 5+ years with Enterprise Applications and Connected Services (HVAC, DVM, Security, OBS, Fire, etc.)
  • 5+ years experience using industry-standard communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, SNMP, API).
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

  • Strong knowledge of IP network technologies (switches, routers, firewalls) and solutions, and proficiency with IP addressing and allocation.
  • Willingness to develop extensive product knowledge through formal training and on-the-job experience with Honeywell's latest technology.
  • Ability to identify technical solutions to customers' business needs.
  • Understanding of Honeywell building technologies and applications (BMS, Security, CCTV, Fire, etc.).
  • Proven track record in project engineering involving design and delivery of technology-based projects.
