THE ROLE

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Field Service Mobile Equipment Technician for a leading provider of aerial equipment located in SURREY. They are an established multinational company and offer their employees excellent benefits along with clearly defined career progression opportunities.

Shift times : 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components
  2. Utilize all technical support resources (such as operator, parts, and maintenance manuals, HowFactory, etc.) in troubleshooting, determining procedures, and identifying parts needed for repair
  3. Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports
  4. Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly manner
  5. Perform all tasks in a manner fully consistent with Safety practices and procedures
  6. Advise supervisors of situations that may impact a customer relationship
  7. Provide accurate and sufficient information on all required documents
  8. Demonstrate Company Values
  9. All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS :

  1. 2 years or more of relevant experience working on aerial devices, cranes, AG equipment, aircraft, or ground support equipment, etc.
  2. High School Diploma, provincially-approved High School Equivalency, or GED
  3. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  4. Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling
  5. A high level of dexterity
  6. As needed, provide basic tools per the tool policy
  7. Drive motor vehicles
  8. Develop basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
  9. Ability to support customers by working overtime
  10. Advocate for safety in everything we do
