Job summary

JPR Industries Inc. is seeking a Field Service Millwright to join our field service team in Southern Alberta. You will diagnose problems, perform on-site repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance for agricultural and material-handling equipment across feed mills and large farm operations.

Must be comfortable with field-based travel, real facility conditions, and providing clear customer updates. Welding ability and tickets for lift equipment are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Diagnose problems and complete on-site repairs for agricultural and material-handling equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, shutdown work, and equipment inspections
• Install, adjust, and align components (bearings, shafts, drives, conveyors, guards, etc.)
• Support troubleshooting for downtime situations and help restore operations quickly
• Millwright/industrial maintenance experience (ticketed preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in the field
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused communication
• Experience in agricultural facilities (feed mills, grain handling, material handling systems)
• Welding ability for field repairs
• Confined space / fall protection / first aid / H2S (or willingness to obtain)
• Varied, hands‑on field work (repairs, upgrades, installations, maintenance)
• A team that backs you up and values “get it done” work ethic
• Clear expectations, honest communication, and a safety-driven culture
