Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Fort St. John, Canada, is seeking a Foreman to coordinate workload for the Service department and directly oversee repair quality. The role focuses on directing technicians, prioritizing orders, and ensuring timely service delivery.

You will provide leadership, training, and safety oversight, while communicating with customers and the Service Manager to improve efficiency and standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a Service Technician, Journeyperson certification considered an asset.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and basic desktop apps.

Responsibilities

• Assign jobs and work orders to technicians based on their skills and experience to ensure efficient and timely job completion.
• Provide accurate quotes and estimates while maintaining clear, professional communication with customers throughout the repair process to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
• Assist in evaluating incoming repair orders to prioritize work and allocate resources effectively.
• Participate in equipment repairs when required to support timely service completion and maintain departmental productivity.
• Monitor progress and review repair orders for accuracy and completeness to ensure efficient service documentation and customer satisfaction.
• Support technicians by providing diagnostic guidance and responding to repair inquiries to ensure issues are resolved quickly and accurately.
• Bill a minimum of 50% of available time.
• Other duties as assigned.
