Field Service HD Mechanic ($47 to 52 per hour)

Job Description:

The field service heavy duty technician will work on excavators, haul trucks, articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders, bulldozers, graders, and other commonly used heavy duty construction equipment. They perform repairs and maintenance work to machinery including engine repair and diagnostics, hydraulic system repairs and diagnostics, transmission and drive train repairs, emission diagnostics and repairs, as well as electrical diagnostics and repairs.

The ex-factor with field service is the ability to work well with customers and foster a good relationship in the field. To be hired in this role, you need to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to see opportunities for service in the field while at work, and have excellent self-management skills since you are trusted with a lot of autonomy.

Required Qualifications:

1. Previous heavy construction equipment field service experience preferred.
2. 421A or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred. Will accept 310T licensed if experienced repairing, diagnosing, maintaining heavy duty construction equipment.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience repairing and maintaining heavy earthmoving or construction equipment.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability.
5. Trustworthy and able to meet company deliverables with limited supervision.
