Palfinger UK is seeking a Specialist Dealer Service Engineer to support our field teams delivering on-site service for lorry loader cranes. You’ll work with advanced lifting equipment, receive structured training, and develop by gaining certification and hands-on experience across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software systems.
You’ll travel across your region, servicing cranes, diagnosing faults, carrying out LOLER inspections, and delivering customer training.

Our field service engineers work 40 hours a week, between our operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday – Friday.
Additional overtime (paid at a Tx1.5) is available should you want to earn more.
Travelling across the region delivering on‑site engineering support to our own brand of lorry loader cranes, including:
Experience as a Service Engineer maintaining similar hydraulic lifting equipment such as material handling machines /forklifts, agricultural machinery, powered access equipment or taillifts is required.
Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar qualification.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
