  • Build strong relationships with farmers and serve as a trusted, approachable resource
  • Provide on‑farm coaching and support to help farmers understand programs, policies, and expectations
  • Support delivery of programs such as food safety, animal care, biosecurity, and environmental initiatives including through coordination and performance of Salmonella testing
  • Assist farmers in navigating changes to programs and requirements in a positive and practical way
  • Complete remote and field‑based flock verification and reporting activities
  • Share insights, feedback, and emerging issues from the field with the EFA team
  • Participate in farmer meetings, workshops, and industry events

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating closely with a team
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, able to bring forward practical solutions and work through challenges
  • Open to feedback and direction, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems and tools
  • Valid Alberta driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract and willingness to travel extensively

  • Practical on‑farm experience is strongly preferred
Working Conditions

Why Work at EFA?

  • Work directly with Alberta egg farmers and contribute to a sustainable, growing industry
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and vacation package.
  • Salary range: $76,000 to $102,800. This is a broad range as placement within the range is based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role requirements.
  • A role that offers variety, independence, and meaningful impact
