Job summary

Sensormatic Canada Inc. is seeking a field technician to install and service EAS and video systems across client sites in Montreal. You will conduct site surveys, program equipment, and complete service forms after each call.

Travel is required, including occasional overnight stays; you will train clients on basic product use and maintain vehicle inventory while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum DEC in Electronics/Electrotechnology or DEP in Security Systems Installation and Maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience in electronic repair and networking.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting networked devices.
• Strong computer and networking skills; solid OS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install and service EAS and other products.
• Conduct site surveys at client locations to advise Sales on required products.
• Complete installation or service forms at each client site after each call.
• Program and adjust EAS and video systems using provided tools.
• Travel to stores to perform installations or service; overnight stays may be required.
• Interact professionally with clients and coworkers; provide basic product training when necessary.
• Follow rules and procedures of Sensormatic Canada Inc.
