Role Summary

Reporting to the Sales Supervisor RJS the Field Sales Representative is responsible for customer development and ensuring RJS Craft Winemaking maintains and grows sales and profits while achieving sales and revenue objectives. They will also execute independent sales program in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Manage territory sales coverage; visit customers, sell product portfolio, guide product merchandising in independent stores, explore new account opportunities, make recommendations on product assortment to drive growth, and meet sales and profitability targets.
  • Manage profitability through monitoring budgets, discounts, rebates and term and conditions of agreements. Sell through limited release, discontinued products, and IAR.
  • Maintain regular call pattern and visit schedule with customers.
  • Co-ordinate with territory’s Inside Sales Representative to grow low volume accounts for overall territory success, monitor order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Dually identify risks and opportunities for territory, escalating cross-functionally as required.
  • Maintain client records, administrative follow-up and maintain activity log in SFDC system. Distribute sales reports and updates to customers.
  • Create action plans to increase customer sales in line with national sales initiatives and focus areas
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure ongoing and increased market growth of RJS Craft Winemaking products. Ensure all customers receive exceptional consistent service, manage customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • A track record of success in a similar role with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience. Preference to candidates with consumer packaged goods and/or grocery retail experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and polished presentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication in both French and English, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proven problem solving and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and peers.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • WSET an asset.

Compensation : Budgeted Range – $61,736.00 – $79,894.00

The budgeted range considers several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
