Field Sales Representative, Google Cloud

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business, with secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions. As a Field Sales Representative, you will manage growth strategies for enterprise accounts, engaging with executives, building relationships, and advocating for Google Cloud products.

Responsibilities

  1. Build executive relationships with enterprise customers to influence their technology and business decisions, adding value as a trusted advisor.
  2. Become an expert on the customer's business, including SaaS product portfolio, technology strategy, growth plans, and engagement landscape.
  3. Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with teams and partners to maximize impact.
  4. Manage sales cycles, present to C-level executives, and negotiate terms.
  5. Drive business development, own operational excellence, forecast, and achieve goals by guiding customers through the business cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience promoting Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, or Applications Software across industries, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new clients to increase spend and accelerate growth.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and negotiations.
  • Experience with legal and procurement negotiations.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and collaborating with executives.
  • Experience working with developers and technical leads on migration plans and business cases.
