Folláin, a family-run, well-loved Irish brand, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Field Sales Representative to drive sales growth across retail, food service, and wholesale channels in the Leinster region. This role is critical in enhancing our brand’s presence, optimizing in-store product placement, and building strong, sustainable relationships to elevate the brand to the next level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of a key territory and make a direct impact on the growth of our exciting, growing Irish brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Store Audits: Audit the brand’s in-store presence, merchandise products for maximum visibility, ensuring products are properly displayed, and brand guidelines are adhered to. Provide prompt and accurate reporting on all store visits.
  • Stock Orders and Rotation: Perform stock rotation and place stock orders where necessary.
  • Maximizing In-Store Presence: Work with store teams to optimize shelf space, visibility, and product placement, ensuring the brand stands out and maximizes sales potential.
  • Proactively Grow Sales: Generate new business leads and sales opportunities through cold calling and direct engagement across retail, food service, and wholesale channels.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent the brand in the field, building relationships with key store contacts and managers.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay attuned to market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity. Share insights and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with store managers and personnel, ensuring ongoing brand support and collaboration.
  • Promotional Implementation: Lead in-store promotions, ensuring effective execution aligned with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Provide feedback and market insights to the sales and marketing teams to inform strategies and boost brand performance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in field sales or retail sales, ideally in food or consumer goods.
  • Strong knowledge of retail environments and how to maximize product performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others effectively.
  • Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities in a retail environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for high standards in product presentation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet performance goals.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong results focus.
