Job Description

Role Description: We are seeking a Field Research Photographer to create high-quality, creative photos and videos using DSLR cameras, drones, gimbals, and other state-of-the-art equipment. This role involves capturing media that helps market properties and supports CoStar’s products, contributing significantly to the real estate industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Navigate assigned locations to ensure comprehensive commercial real estate data coverage.
  2. Walk through commercial buildings to document tenant data, including business names, addresses, suite sizes, geolocations, and images.
  3. Communicate professionally with building staff to access tenant rosters and property data.
  4. Identify missing or new inventory and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  5. Produce interior and exterior media of various property types using professional tools.
  6. Edit photography and videos promptly to complete projects.
  7. Maintain professional communication with clients during all media shoots.
  8. Continuously develop photography skills and stay updated on new techniques and technology.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting, with ability to work outside in all seasons.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional bending, stooping, and carrying.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional corporate or real estate photography/videography experience.
  • Proficiency in manual camera settings and lighting.
  • Strong time management, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently over large geographic areas.
  • Problem-solving skills and data accuracy capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with MAC OS and MS Office.
  • FAA Part 107 Certification (can be obtained within 30 days).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to rent a car.
