Job summary

Cameco Corporation is seeking a project professional to support the Technical Services team in Saskatoon. You will coordinate activities, help manage schedules and documentation, and assist with cost tracking on NRMs across a mining-focused portfolio.

The role offers hybrid work with regular office presence in Saskatoon and monthly site travel. Ideal candidates bring 3–6 years in related industrial roles and a background in project work, with PMP or equivalent certification a plus.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Three to six years in maintenance, operations, reliability and/or field-based roles in an industrial setting.
At least three years of exposure to project work (supporting non-routine maintenance projects, scheduling or cost tracking).
Equivalent education and work experience considered; PMP or related certification preferred or obtainable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities, support schedules and project documentation.
Assist with cost tracking, reporting and change management.
Work under the guidance of a senior project manager.
Gain exposure to field execution, contractors and operational stakeholders.
Ensure safety, efficiency, productivity and compliance with Cameco standards.
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and report project status to management.
Collaborate with operations teams and site stakeholders across mining projects.
