Job description

Our client, a major oil and gas company, is looking for a Field Operator for their field located east of Rocky Mountain House, AB. Reporting to the Senior Production Foreman, the successful candidate will operate gas compressors, condensate stabilization facilities, high-pressure multi-well pads, and plunger lift systems. The schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off, and applicants must be willing to be on-call while on shift and reside in Rocky Mountain House or surrounding areas.

Requirements Include:

  • 3-5 years of field operating experience
  • Experience with high-pressure wells
  • A disciplined work ethic with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Capable of working in both team and individual environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and comfortable with computer applications
  • PFO/GPO certificate or 4th Class Power Engineering considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
  • H2S ticket and First Aid ticket
