Job summary

Cogeco Connexion Inc. in Pembroke, ON seeks a Network Technician to install and service Cogeco products for residential customers. You will perform installations, outages, and minor network-related tasks while delivering high-quality customer service in home and network environments.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, using test equipment, and maintaining tools. The role requires safety adherence, on-call rotation, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Electronics, preferably Technician or Technologist level with CATV/Telecommunications training.
• NCTI or SCTE training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential installations and service connections, additions, changes, and disconnections of Cogeco services.
• Responds to and resolves customer-reported service problems.
• Coordinates work with internal partners to meet customer expectations.
• Educates customers on Cogeco products and services.
• Operates and maintains test equipment for coaxial and fiber networks.
• Ensures equipment and tools are maintained.
• Escalates issues to the appropriate department and follows up.
