Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Mechanic located in Greater Sudbury, ON. The Field Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of equipment in the field. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance on equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely. The Field Mechanic will also document all repairs and maintenance performed, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and provide customer support when needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills, including troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in mechanics is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Previous experience in the rental equipment industry is a plus
