Role Overview

Production Associates are essential in creating eyeglasses that improve lives. You will work in a collaborative team to produce high-quality prescription eyewear in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:

• Operating machines to shape and clean lenses.
• Inserting lenses into matching frames.
• Inspecting the final product to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities & Duties

You will focus on specific areas such as coating, finishing, or surfacing, with cross-training opportunities in the future. Examples include:

• In Coating: operating coating machines, inspecting lenses.
• In Finishing: beveling, mounting, edging, tinting, inspecting.
• In Surfacing: blocking, polishing, washing lenses.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the country.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 months of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in optical or medical device manufacturing.
