3 Step Recruitment Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for an industrial construction project in Canora, Saskatchewan. The role oversees on-site operations, safety, and coordination with trades, with travel to project sites as needed.

The position offers a competitive base salary and benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong field leadership, a proven ability to manage subcontractors, and extensive knowledge of concrete construction and project scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction supervisory experience.
• Approximately 7+ years of Canadian construction experience preferred.
• Strong industrial construction experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction and experience supervising concrete work.
• Proven ability to lead field personnel and keep projects on schedule.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and sequencing.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Supervise subcontractors and direct-hire crews.
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, schedule and quality requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and deliveries.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain project schedules and minimize delays.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve field issues.
• Oversee concrete-related construction activities.
• Participate in planning and short-term scheduling.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
• Complete required site documentation including timesheets and purchase orders.
• Maintain a strong field presence and provide leadership to site personnel.
• Promote and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
