Job summary

KBL, Western Canada’s leading environmental waste management company, is seeking a Labourer in Calgary, AB. You will support operators and supervisors by cleaning sites, moving materials, and performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Requirements include 1–2 years in a similar role, a valid Class 5 license, ability to lift 55 lbs, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent verbal communication. Travel across Western Canada and day/night shifts up to 12 hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 55 lbs, confined spaces, heights, extended standing).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, able to give and receive verbal information and direction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of construction sites.
• Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment, loading and unloading equipment.
• Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment.
• Working with hand tools, moving materials on construction sites, and assisting other workers.
