Northern Strands is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Field Labourer (Ag Terminal Services), whose primary responsibilities include installing or dismantling/repairing machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Various training opportunities will be provided.
Typical projects could involve railcar progressioners, other bulk material handling equipment, mobile equipment, process equipment, battery powered mobile equipment, and mining equipment. Quality work and timely completion of all aspects of the job are required. The Field Labourer (Ag Terminal Services) works closely with and takes direction for daily tasks from the Field Supervisor.
The successful candidate must be available for regular out-of-town travel, including overnight stays for up to five (5) consecutive days. Overtime opportunities are frequently available during these assignments.
