A Day in The Life of a Field Inventory Technician
As a Field Inventory Technician, you will be responsible for traveling through assigned areas to call on accounts. You will check inventory and note quantity of items for delivery to each account to ensure proper product inventory is maintained.

  1. Communicate with customers to evaluate needs or concerns
  2. Maintain on-site daily product reporting and analysis
  3. Source, upsell, and build relationships with existing and potential customers
  4. Provide daily support of sales efforts and account maintenance functions
  5. Ensure actual inventory count and communicate with warehouse personnel
  6. Enter, review, and release orders to support e-commerce solutions

Education & Experience
  1. High school degree or equivalent required
  2. 1 year of electrical, construction, or mechanical products required, 2 years preferred
  3. 1 year of resolving technical, equipment, and service-related issues, 2 years preferred

Skills & Requirements

  2. Basic problem-solving skills

Compensation Details: $21.21 - $26.51 Per Hour
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package. In addition, Wesco offers a full range of benefits such as paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement savings plans for eligible employees.
