Job summary

Inuuqatigiit Centre for Inuit Children, Youth & Families seeks an Inuit Health Survey Field Worker in Ottawa to support the QNIHS rollout. You will recruit participants, conduct interviews, and help coordinate data collection in the National Capital Region.

The role involves collaboration with Inuit organizations, coordinating referrals, and providing responsive services in a high-demand environment, with evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in data collection, interviews or customer service.
• Knowledge of Inuit communities and working in collaborative, family-oriented programs.
• Post-secondary education in related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview participants for the QNIHS using an electronic tablet.
• Transfer collected data to the regional Data Analyst.
• Participate in training related to survey administration and data systems.
• Refer participants to appropriate resources and coordinate referrals.
• Collaborate with partner organizations to meet program goals.
