Responsibilities:
- Administer medications (IM, SC, and IV as applicable) in home or specialty clinic settings.
- Support and monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare setting.
- Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments and report on all activities as per program protocols and professional nursing standards.
- Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups.
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints following Innomar policies and procedures.
- Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and nursing KPIs.
- Coordinate with patients, case managers, physicians, and other departments to meet scheduling and communication timelines.
- Perform administrative duties such as clinic audits and supply ordering.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
- Participate in client-related training as required.
- Consult with physicians and clients regarding education and implementation of product programs.
- Travel within designated IBUs as needed.
- Follow all nursing, clinic, and safety procedures and standards.
- Complete ongoing education and training within required timeframes.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and company policies.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Standby/on-call may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Practical Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience with IV therapy is an asset.
- Diploma / University degree in nursing or related field.
- Current registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certification.
- Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting.
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA) and central line experience are assets.
- Knowledge of communication tools (cell phone, fax).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel within the geographic boundary.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.
