Job Details
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
- Administer medications in patients' homes, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinics.
- Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as per protocols.
- Complete documentation according to policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO.
- Provide education to patients and caregivers based on product monographs and protocols, either individually or in groups.
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints following training and policies.
- Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and clinics, aligning with KPIs.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate appointments and treatments.
- Coordinate with patients/caregivers for appointment setup and drug delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
- Engage in specialized client training as needed.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and collaborate within the healthcare team, delegating tasks as authorized.
- Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
- Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and health & safety standards.
- Complete ongoing education within required timeframes.
- Perform other duties as assigned and be on standby/on call if necessary.
Experience And Educational Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
- Current license and CPR certification.
- Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
- Assets include ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and experience with central lines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet access.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry (asset).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
