Job Details
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
  1. Administer medications in patients' homes, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinics.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as per protocols.
  3. Complete documentation according to policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO.
  4. Provide education to patients and caregivers based on product monographs and protocols, either individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints following training and policies.
  6. Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and clinics, aligning with KPIs.
  7. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate appointments and treatments.
  8. Coordinate with patients/caregivers for appointment setup and drug delivery.
  9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
  10. Engage in specialized client training as needed.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and collaborate within the healthcare team, delegating tasks as authorized.
  12. Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
  13. Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and health & safety standards.
  14. Complete ongoing education within required timeframes.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned and be on standby/on call if necessary.
Experience And Educational Requirements:
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
  2. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  3. Current license and CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
  5. Assets include ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and experience with central lines.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and internet access.
  7. Good communication and customer service skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and travel within the area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry (asset).
  2. Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  4. Valid driver’s license and insurance.
