Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints following Innomar policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs, based on the employment agreement.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to uphold professional standards.
  10. Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, delegating tasks as authorized.
  12. Travel within your designated area to meet operational needs.
  13. Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  14. Follow all health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
  15. Complete ongoing and annual education and training within specified timeframes.
  16. Perform other duties as required by Innomar.
  17. Be available on standby/on call if needed to meet service requirements.
Experience And Educational Requirements
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  2. Minimum 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  3. Current registration with a licensing body; CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
  5. ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and central venous line/port experience are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and applicable computer programs.
  7. Access to internet and cell phone for communication and appointment management.
  8. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  9. Ability to travel within the designated geographical area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
  1. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  2. Business and financial acumen is an asset.
  3. Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  4. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  6. Effective presentation skills and self-direction.
  7. Valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and insurance coverage.
